i love the idea of mixing masculine pieces with feminine ones. this trend is epic. but please, PLEASE, do not EVER leave the house looking like diane keaton—that’s a no no. think audrey hepburn’s gap ad, revamped. there are many ways 2 take on this look without losing yourself within it.
the premise behind women wearing masculine attire is to take the tailored, structured look and fit of menswear and make it flattering for the female body. The key to pulling this look off is remembering to highlight your “girlish assets” ;) so belt it. throw on a fitted blazer with those tailored slacks. I love a wide leg pant w/ a simple v-neck and blazer. and remember, u can also go super simple with a fedora or newsboy hat, a pair of spectacles or an oxford!
